Hey guys. I have been here just over a week now and I'm starting to miss home a bit but I'm thinking of all the children that need my help out here in South Africa. We started work on our projects and mine was a bit difficult to start off with as there was no structure to go on but as the week progressed we started to implement some things for the volunteers to carry on with after we have left the project in a few weeks time when we swap with the other 7 volunteers. As part of this project we have to go out on home visits and it is a massive contrast from one side of the bridge to the other. One side is built up and the other side is all poverty stricken with people living in shacks. It was a real culture shock to see how many people are living in one house!? I almost broke down when I went to one house because of their circumstances it was sooooooooo sad. Well, I will report again next week. Until then bye.
